Much more betterer than the last one. Looks like you would actually be able to steer this one, albeit with some effort if the cart is loaded.

Batteries in the cart feed to the control box in the cart which goes to the throttle on the handle bar which then feeds back to the control box which then gives power to the motor.

I meant how is the motor wired? I assume that it spins with the wheel, so is it using brushes contacting the hub, or are there wires coming out of the axle?

Not much. The cart wheels will be supporting most of the weight in the basket.

I'm still a bit wary about some things on it, but I am looking forward to seeing how it comes out. Have fun, I've toyed with the idea of electric bicycles for a while, this looks like it might be going somwehere.

I'm welding up the frame tomorrow and then beginning the assembly, you'll see the finished project in a few weeks, ie when it's due.
